It is now Stone Watkins'August, Inc. The Watkins in the name is executive art director, vice presi- dent and treasurer Tom Watkins, a co-founder. The August is James M. August, who joined the firm as executive vice president last Sep- tember. Stone continues as presi- dent. Simultaneously, the firm an- nounced four new accounts: Grill Corp., a division of Gidon Indus- tries; Grace/Wolpin Broadcasting; Glenn Pontiac; and Englander-Tri- angle Furniture Stores. Gidon In- dustries is in Toronto; the other firms are all in Detroit. A minia- ture hibachi manufactured by Grill Corp. is scheduled to go into national distribution in April. Stone Watkins August projects 1969 billings of $2,800,000, up from $2,200,000 in 1968. Billings at the end of the firm's first year were $80,000, Stone recalls. Doreen Berg Engaged to Larry F. '69 Opens Sunday Center Arts Festival Joseph Buloff, internationally known actor of both the Yiddish and English stage, will be present- ed by the Yiddish Committee of the Jewish Center 8 p.m. March 23 in the Aaron DeRoy Theater. His appearance is a feature of the two- week Arts Festival opening Sunday At the Jewish Center. Buloff's repertoire will include selections in both Yiddish and Eng- lish. Buloff received his first training with the internationally famous Vilna Troupe. He was brought to the United States as director and teacher of acting at the Chicago People's Institute. Buloff later joined the Yiddish Art Theater in New York. He has produced a number of plays on his own and has become one of the outstanding actors of the American Yiddish theater. Buloff is also a permanent member of the Habima Company. For almost four years he played the role of the Persian peddler, All Hakim, in the original New York production of "Oklahoma." He is also remembered for other Broadway roles in such plays as "My Sifri.er Eileen," "The Wall" and, with the late Gertrude Berg, in "Dear Me, the Sky is Falling." He has just re- cently returned from Florida where he appeared in Arthur Miller's "The Price." Tickets for Buloff's performance are now on sale at the Center. That afternoon in the theater, the Hebrew department of the Center will present a "Youth Zim- riya" at 3 p.m. This annual choral songfest is based on the Zimriya started in Israel 15 years ago as an international event attracting choirs from throughout the world.
