Nathan F:nks Celebrate

50th Wedding Date

activates in Society

Mrs. Albert J. Silber will lead the Detroit-area delegation to the
biennial convention of the National Women's Division of American Jew-
ish Congress next week at the Mayflower Hotel, Washington, D.C. Mrs.
Silber, president of the Detroit Women's Division and a member of the
Women's Division national executive committee, will present a back-
ground paper, "New Role in the Urban Crisis for the Jewish Commu-
nity," bringing perspectives from Detroit. The Detroit delegation will
submit a resolution proposing a national AJC women's campaign to
boycott war and weapon toys. Also scheduled by the Detroit delegation
are visits with U.S. Senators and Congressmen from Michigan. Other
board members leading the Detroit delegation include Mesdames
Aaron Shifman, Milton Schwartz and Leonard Trunsky.
