Pelavin has been appointed di- rector for Indiana, Kentucky, Mich- igan and Ohio. He is on the national board of directors of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds, vice chairman of its com- mittee on small cities and a mem- ber of the Advisory Board of Young Leaders and the National Leader- ship Development Committee. He is also a member of the exec- utive committee of the National Community Relations Advisory Council and national council of the Joint Distribution Committee.
