Amity Award Luncheon S cheduled Wednesday

Committee include Frank Angelo,
Dr. Leon Fram, Dr. Robert M.
Frehle, William T. Gossett, Rt.
Rev. Msgr. Clement Kern, Walter
E. Klein, Barbara Locke, Judge
Wade H. McCree Jr. and Mrs.
Daniel Shapiro.
Mrs. Robert Rosenbush is in
charge of arrangements for the
Amity Award luncheon. Assisting
her are Mesdames Fred Benderoff,
David Schwartz, Seymour Israel
and Gabriel Moscow. Mrs. Albert
J. Silber is president of the Wom-
en's Division.

She 22nd annual Amity Award
luncheon of the Detroit Women's
Division of the American Jewish
Congress will-be held at noon Wed-
nesday at Adas Shalom Syna-
gogue.
Former Governor G. Mennen
Williams, now U.S. ambassador to
the Phillipines, will receive the
1969 Amity Award. Special cita-
tions will be presented to Richard
Simmons Jr., director of Detroit's
anti-poverty program, and Mrs.
Richard Mittenthal, a citizen wife-
and-mother who has been active
in projects for the betterment of
community interrelations.
