TEL AVIV (ZINS) — Israel's
reserve of foreign currency at
present amounts to $800,000,000-
$100,000,000 less than last year,
the assistant minister of finance,
Dr. Zvi Dinstei n, disclosed.
He said that in 1970 I sr a el's
reserve in foreign currency will
decrease by $200,000,000. Should
Israel be forced to spend more
than the above sum, it will have
an adverse effect upon her eco-
nomy, since in order to avoid in-
flation, she would need a minimum
of $500,000,000 in reserve.
