Lord Harlech served during Persident Kennedy's tenure as am- bassador from Britain to the United States. At age 15, she made her op- eratic debut in LaBianca Rome with a cast of Italy's finest singers. As a teen-ager, she received a Fulbright Scholarship to further her studies in Italy. There, La- Bianca won first prize in the inter- national competition for opera singers in Milan. She has also won a Ford Foundation grant for pro- fessional singers and has sung on the Jewish Daily Forward radio program in New York. LaBianca's repertory consists of opera, concert, comedy and ballads and folk songs. She sings in eight languages, including Yiddish, Hebrew, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
