Camp Canada in Israel Established Near Haifa

TORONTO — The newly formed
"Camp Canada in Israel," a non-
profit, private camp for North
American and Israeli boys and
girls age 15-18 has been established

rectors.
Under the leadership of veteran
camping executives Ben Wise and
Harold Nashman of Toronto, the
camp, with its resident base near
Haifa, will operate for the first
time July 3-Aug. 20.
It will offer a camping experience
involving work, travel, study and
recreation.

Campers will live alongside
Kibutz Ein Hashofet, whose facili-
ties, which they will use, include
a modern secondary school and
gymnasium. The camp has self-
contained, fully-equipped living
quarters.

TEL AVIV — A member of the
Knesset Monday called for a total
boycott of Poland in reprisal for
the Warsaw regime's anti-Semitic
campaign. But Chaim Landau,
addressing a protest rally under
the auspices of the World Jewish
Congress and the Polish Jewish
Association, did not say how a boy-
cott would be effective since Is-
raeli's imports from Poland are
presently nil. Stefan Grayek, a for-
mer partisan leader, said the Pol-
ish government's anti-Semitism
was unequalled in any country, in-
cluding Soviet Russia. Other
speakers demanded permission for
Polish Jews to emigrate to Israel. !
