Judith Silverman Wed
to New Yorker in Paris

MRS. JOEL HERSCHMAN

Judith Rachel Silverman and
Joel Alan Herschman were mar-
ried recently in Paris.
The bride Is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Silverman
of Trailwood Path, Birmingham.
Her husband is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Herschman of Brook-

The bride received her bachelor
of arts degree from Bennington
College, Vermont, and a masters
degree in fine arts from New York
University. The bridegroom, a
Fullbright scholar doing final re-
search for his doctorate in France,
was graduated from Brooklyn
College, after which he spent two
years as a teaching fellow at the
University of Berkeley while earn-
ing his masters degree in fine arts
—architecture. Before leaving for
France, he spent two years teach-
ing architectural history at
Queen's College of the City Univ-
ersity of New York. Upon comple-
tion of their studies, the couple
will return to the United States
and make their home in New
York.

cil of Orthodox Rabbis. Jerome

lath Moses, Mt. Clemens, will
speak on the Book of Leviticus.
Rabbi Wolicld is a graduate of
Yeshiva University and holds a
masters degree in Hebrew Litera-
ture. He is currently doing re-
