New Concord Students to Pursue Kibutz Course

NEW YORK — Eighteen Amer-
ican students from Muskingum
College, New Concord, 0., will
engage in an experience in Kibutz
Yotvata near the Red Sea port of
Eilat in Israel where they will par-
ticipate in the life and work of
the kibutz and prepare papers
about various aspects of kibutz
life.
The students will be going to
Israel with their teacher, Prof.
Stuart Hills of the sociology de-
partment, who decided to conduct
a credit course on the kibutz as a
unique society on the spot in
Israel. The trip, to start from Ken-
nedy International Airport Jan. 5,

has been arranged in cooperation
with the American Zionist Youth
Foundation and the youth depart-
ment of the Jewish Agency in
Jerusalem. The students will
spend 17 days in Yotvata working
half a day and preparing their
papers during the remainder.

Under direction of Judge Robert
I. Hammerman of the Supreme

the congregation, a meeting of
city officials and temple leaders
was arranged to develop the pro-
gram. Working with the city's
Youth Opportunity Program, the
congregation offers part-time work

Prague Says Many E. German
Officials Are Nazi Criminals

BONN (JTA)—The East German
regime has been seriously embar-
rassed by a list of former Nazi
war criminals now high in its
ranks, submitted to it recently
by Czechoslovakia. The East Ger-

and have accused Prague of try-
ing to "defame" East Germany
because of its participation in the
Soviet-led invasion of Czechoslo-
vakia last August. The East Ger-
