He pre- dicted a similar condition for the U. S. and for Israel. In such a setting at Bar-Ilan, he said, there will be a "sharply ris- ing need for research" and great educational opportunities will be provided. He predicted that in the next decade the present student body of 4,000 and the faculty of 500 at Bar-Ilan will be doubled.
