WE MUST BE PREPARED!

The tragic explosion in the heart of Jerusalem on Novem-
ber 22nd took its terrible toll . . . in lives and in injuries.
As always, however, when help was needed, Shaare
Zedek Hospital was there, ready to serve. 66 of the 70
wounded were rushed immediately to Shaare Zedek and
rceived emergency care. Our facilities were sorely
strained. Our hallways were crowded with seriously
injured men, women and children who had to wait be-
fore their wounds could be treated. THIS MUST NOT
BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN AGAIN!

It is imperative, for the safety of our people and our na-
tion, that Shaare Zedek's Emergency Ward be expanded!
New and better equipment must be installed immedi-
ately! We dare not wait! Who knows what tomorrow
may bring! Respond generously to our $50,000 Emerg-
ency Campaign to enlarge and re-equip our Emergency
Ward.
