Former Detroiter
Writes History
of Brazil's Press

Isaac Reisman, former Detroiter,
has written a "Quarter Century of
the Jewish Press in Brazil, 1915-
1940," which has just been publish-
ed in Israel by Moxium l'Aman-
anut Hadfush, P. 0. Box 1016,
Sated.
His work is a study of the com-
munal and cultural development of
the Jews in Brazil.
Facsimiles of newspapers and
journals appearing in Brazil are in-
cluded in the book.

`Light Up the Sky' Cast
to Be Picked at Auditions

Auditions for Center Theater's
February production of "Light Up
the Sky" will be 2-5 p.m. Dec. 8;
and 8-11 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10 at the
Jewish Center.
Hal Youngblood will direct this
Moss Hart comedy. Persons inter-
