Box chairman. Third prize went

BNAI DAVID SISTERHOOD will
hear Bruce Schmidt, director of
the Southfield Public Library, re-
view the books "Heaven Help Us"
by Rabbi Herbert Tarr and "The
Dance of Genghis Cohn" by Ro-
main Gary 8 p.m. Dec. 9 at the
synagogue. The public is invited.
On Dec. 16, the sisterhood and
men's club will stage their annual
Hanuka party in the social hall, at
8 p.m. The program will include a
pantomine presentation of "Fiddler
on the Roof" by the Livonia Con-
gregation Youth Group. Lathes will
be served.

Women, will have a pre-donor
luncheon noon Tuesday at the home

Mrs. Pearl Nosan is presented
with a citation of honor for her
service to the Jewish National
Fund and Israel in recent ceremo-
nies at the Jewish National Fund
Assembly at the New York Hilton
Hotel. Mrs. Nosan, past president
of the Detroit JNF Women's Aux-
iliary and current program chair-
man, is with Dr. Milton Aron, ex-
ecutive vice president of JNF of
America.

RADOMER AID SOCIETY will
hold a rummage sale 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Dec. 10 at Royal Oak Women's
Club. For information on rummage,

Fresh Air Society
Elects Mrs. Scott

The Fresh Air Society board of
directors re-elected Mrs. Julian H.
Scott president for the coming
term.
Vice president is Sol G. Kurtz-
man; secretary, Sidney J. Winer;
and treasurer, Dr. Oscar D.
Schwartz.
The nominating committee con-
sisted of Maxwell E. Katzen, chair-
man; Mrs. Arnold E. Frank, Miles
Jaffe, Dr. John J. Pollack and Sid-
ney Winer.
This is Mrs. Scott's second term
as president. She was first elected
to the board of directors in 1951
and has been a member since then.
