Holiday Messages
The Metropolitan Detroit Bnai
Brith Council and Michigan Six
Meter Club will transmit and re-
ceive Thanksgiving Day greetings
via amateur radio for patients at
the Veterans Administration Hos-
pital, Allen Park, 7-9 p.m. Nov. 25
and 26.
This public. service program
"Operation Hospital," was started
seven years ago by the two organi-
zations to bring the patient closer
to his loved ones and friends.
Messages. are sent throughout the
world.
The program has been made
possible through the cooperation of
many ham radio operators and
amateur radio clubs.

Miss Platt attended Michigan
State University and was gradu-
ated from Wayne State Univer-
sity's college of education. Her
fiance attends the Ohio College of
Podiatry, where he is affiliated
with Phi Alpha Pi professional fra-
ternity.
The couple has set July 1 as
their wedding date.
`Happy-ning' to Open
Tel-Twelve Mall
Patrons who attend the grand
opening "Happy-ping" at the -Tel-
Twelve Mall, 12 Mile and Tele-
graph, Southfield, will find enter-
tainment and attractions for all
age groups through Saturday.
A fashion show, featuring the
latest fall and winter wear from
the various women's shops and de-
partments in the mall, will be held
2:30 p.m. today.
At 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., Red
Ace, also known as - Skatey the
Clown, will stage balloon sculp-
1-_ture shows. From 1 to 1:30 p.m.,
'the- Ginny Tin Revue will be pre-
sented.
Eddie Santini, nationally known
orchestra leader, will present two
shows daily, at 4 and 6:30 p.m.
The shopping facility will feature
a garden-type fashion court as part
of the enclosed• mall, providing
climatically-controlled "all weath-
er" shopping throughout the entire
year. There are two large depart-
ment stores and 40 stores and
specialty shops.
