He said that in addition to the
four Detroiters who are members
of the faculty, there now are five
students at Bar-Ilan from this
area. They are: Marjorie Adels-
berg, Southfield; Harry Burstyn,
Windsor; Marlene Fiedler, Bar-
bara Rotenberg and Rita Jerusa
lem, Detroit.
With Dr. Max Jammer, president
of Bar-Ilan University, as guest
speaker, the Dec. 4 dinner is ex-
pected to draw a record audience
to Marry Mr. Ettlinger
as a result of the increasing sup-
port that is being given the uni-
versity by Detroiters, Joseph Jack-
ier, dinner chairman, stated.
Stollman reported to his fellow
workers at the dinner planning
meeting that Bar-Man's course in
criminology has been recognized
as a major subject for the current
year.
He also reported that in addition
to structures financed in part by
Detroiters — Max M. Fisher,
Charles Grosberg, Abraham Bor-
man, the Stollman family — new
buildings are being erected for the
psychology department.
Reservations for the Dec. 4 din-
ner are being taken at the local
Bar-Ilan office, DI 1-0708.

At an open house, Mrs. David
Salzenstein of Charlton Sq., South-
field, announced the engagement
of her daughter Barbara Lynn to
Roger James Ettlinger, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Roger D. Ettlinger of
Knob Woods Dr., Southfield.
The bride-elect, daughter of the
late Mr. Salzenstein, is a senior in
Michigan State University's col-
lege of education, where she is
vice president of Alpha Epsilon
Phi Sorority. Her fiance majors in
business administration at Detroit
Institute of Technology.
The couple plans to marry in
August.
Lovers of cheese kreplach are
