weekend to Martin Cohen, son of
Mrs. Ella Cohen of Beverly Ave.,

The ceremony was performed at

The bride wore a gown of peau
de soie and hand-corded Alencon
lace. Her chapel-length illusion
mantilla was bordered in matching
lace.
Elaine Beresh was her sister's
matron of honor. Lynn Schavrien
served as maid of honor. Brides-
maids were Barbara Finkelstein,
Rochelle Chaiken, Lorna Cohen and
Lisa Stollman.
Richard Cohen served as his
brother's best man. Arnold and
Martin Shenkman, brothers of the
bride, Lawrence Beresh, Kenneth
Shevin, Adrian Williams, Milton
Silverman, Aaron Rosenstein and
Norman Steel were ushers.
After a honeymoon in Greece and
Italy, the couple will reside in
Detroit.

Israel's Milestone;
to Honor Stollman

Two events marking the 20th
anniversary of the state of Israel
will be held in Windsor this week-
end and next.
- At 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Yaffa Yar-
koni, one of Israel's best known
singers, will present a program at
the Jewish Center. Miss Yarkoni
has just concluded an Israeli con-
cert at Carnegie Hall.
The following Sunday evening,
Rabbi Samtiel Stollman will be
honored at a gathering on behalf
of Israel Bonds. He will be cited
for his 20 years of service to the
Windsor community, as well as
the state of Israel. Guest speaker
