Six Day War, General ltzhak Rabin

earned a special place in the annals

of the Jewish people alongside the

great and noble defenders of Israel.

We are privileged to welcome him

to Detroit in his key diplomatic role

as Israel's Ambassador to the Unit-

ed States at a crucial turning point

in Israel's continuing struggle for

security, progress and peace.
