THE COMBINED catering exper-
ience of Sammy Lieberman and
Ted Moss of the Raleigh House,
takes in the service of more than
5,000,000 people. . . That's a lot
of food dollars through the years,
and we know of no others in the
country who can match the as-
tronomical figure of these two .
In fact, Raleigh House itself is also
in a class all alone as one of the
nation's leading and most modern
catering establishments ... Makes
no difference how many people
attending, 50 or 2,000, the seven
rooms can be utilized to fit any
number at one time . . . and Sam-
my and Ted make an unbeatable
combination with their wealth of
catering know-how in both the field
of arrangements and actual pro-
ductivity.
NAME OF THAT easy earful
songstress at Rampart Street is
Leola Taylor.
RUB SCORCHES with a piece of
raw onion and leave them for a
short while . . . Then soak in cold
water—the marks will fade!
STEAK ALVARO is the delicious
taste treat at Alvaro's on 14 Mile
Rd. and Crooks Rd. in Royal Oak
. . . The juicy specialty is a choice
sirloin dipped in Italian spiced
cheese and broiled to taste . . .
Alvaro's is open from 11 a.m. to 2
p.m., also featuring a fine after-
theater sandwich menu.
JACK PAGOTO, new owner at
Vannelli Restaurant on Woodward,
knows only that to satisfy a cus-
tomer, he must give both good food
and good service . . . Jack has
completely revamped Vanelli's to
