OCTOBER PROCLAIMED JWV MEMBERSHIP MONTH

At a breakfast Rally Sun-
day, October 6th at Stoufer's
Northland Inn, Dr. Leonard
Schreiber, Commander of the
Department of Michigan of
the Jewish War Veterans of
the U.S.A. was presented with
the official proclamation of
the City of Southfield declar-
ing October JWV Membership
Month. Acting for Mayor
James Clarkson, the procla-
mation was placed in the
hands of the Jewish War Vet-
erans by the President of the
Southfield City Council, Nor-
man W. Feder and Council-

Gubow, a devoted and dedi-
cated servant of Jewish causes,

respected advocate of the Jew-
ish War Veterins. Judge Ga-
bow emphasized the "peculiar'
