HOLLISWOOD, N.Y. (JTA) —
The third year of a religious school
for deaf children opened this week
at Temple Israel of Jamaica with
three pupils, two boys and a girl.
Mrs. Mac Albert Bank, chairman
of the project, which is sponsored
by Temple Sisterhood, said more
were expected to be enrolled. The
curriculum includes holiday ob-
servances, Bible stories and basic
prayers. The instructor is H. W.
Bernstein, a member of the staff
of the St. Joseph's School for the
Deaf, in the Bronx.
