MIAMI (JTA) — The Jewish
Vocational Service of Miami plans

to buy three buildings, including

one it now rents, for a major ex-
pansion of its programs, according
to Charles Hertzoff, JVS presi-
dent. Half of the required $108,-
500 will be ,provided through a
$54.250 grant from the Rehabili-
tation Services Administration of
the Federal Department of Health,
Education and Welfare.

Section, National Council of Jew-
ish Women, are in search of dona-
tion to the Council's Resale Shops
so they might earn their admission
tickets to the Thanksgiving Eve
ball, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Ral-
eigh House.
Detroit Section President Mrs.
Victor Shiffman reports a Sept.
30 deadline for donations, which
must total $150.
Dubbed the DiamOnd Jubilee in
honor of NCJW's 75th anniver-
sary, the Angel Ball is under the
co-chairmanship of Mrs. Ronald
Greenberg and Mrs. Melvin Ro-
senhaus. They are planning ,a gour-
met meal, Carl Edson's music for
dancing and gifts in the Mystery
Boutique.

In a recent ceremony at Cong.
Bnai David, Susan Babs Kepes,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin
Kepes of Birchcrest Dr. became
the bride of David Michael Young,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Young of Nine Mile Rd., South-
field.
Rabbis Hayim Donin and Jacob
Segal and Cantors Hyman Adler
and Nicholas Fenakel officiated at
the ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of silk
crepe embroidered with seed
pearls. The gown was styled with
a high neckline, bishop sleeves, and
a straight, easy skirt flowing into
an attached court-length train. Her
headpiece was an open crown of
pearls, holding the bouffant, chap-
el-length veil of silk illusion.
Marilyn Kepes served his sister
as maid of honor. Bridesmaids in-
cluded Judy Monson, Carol Lich-
tig, Sheila Brin, Lauren Janawitz
and the bridegroom's sisters,
Marilyn Topper and Barbara E.
Young.
Best man was Don Horwitz.
Serving as ushers were Alan Adel-
son, Larry Rudner, Barry 'Olen,
Richard Heideman and Richard
Kepes, brother of the bride.
After honeymooning in Florida,
the couple will reside in Detroit.

The appointment of ARTHUR S.
FULMAN, an attorney, as assist-
ant to the director of the Anti-
Defamation League's Washington,
D.C. office, has been announced by
Benjamin R. Epstein, national
ADL director.
