by the Cantonal Training Institute,
an offiliate of Yeshiva University.
The collection contains manu-
scripts of works by Abraham
Frachtenberg, famed as a com-
poser and choral director in both
Eastern Europe and New York
City until his death in 1927.
Cantor Macy Nulman, director
of the Cantorial Training Institute,
said the unpublished manuscripts
had been acquired through the ef-
forts of Samson and Judah Cold-
stein and Rabbi Sholom Rephun.
