Out-of-town guests at the recent wedding of Donna Weingarten to

Benison of Flint; and Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Rossin of Ann Arbor.
Bnai Brith leaders in the Detroit area will leave Sept. 7 for Wash-
ington, D.C., as delegates to the 1968 triennial convention of the
Supreme Lodge at the Shoreham Hotel. Delegates from 48 countries
will attend and celebrate the 125th anniversary of Bnai Brith. Leading
the Detroit delegation will be this city's four national commissioners,
Milton Weinstein, Morris Direnfeld, Louis Barden and Alfred H.
Bounin. The other elected delegates are Arthur C. Schott, Sol Moss,
Louis Weber, Harry Pearson, Harry Weinberger and Harry Nathan.
Seving as alternates from Detroit are: George Tarnoff, Herman Kasoff,
David Bittker, Julius Kahn, Nathan Rubenstein, Harry N. Katz, Sol
Superfon, James N. Laker, Bernard Whiteman and Max Kushner.
Newly elected officers of the Wayne State University chapter of
Iota Alpha Pi sorority are Diane Holtz, president; Cindy Zaremberg,
vice president; Susan Cohen, pledge mother; Paula Lichtig, treasurer;
and Marla Goodman, secretary.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Newman of Antago Ave., Livonia, recently
returned from a vacation trip in the Catskills.

Sholem Aleichem Nursery
Now Enrolling for Fall

Sholem Aleichem Nursery will
begin its new semester Sept. 4 for
children age 3-5 in either three-
day-a-week or five-day-a-week ses-
sions.
The program strives to imbue
children with positive attitudes to-
ward their Jewishness in a Jewish
atmosphere. All Jewish holidays
are taught and celebrated, and
both the Yiddish and Hebrew lan-
guages are an intregal part of the
learning process.
The program is under the direc-
tion of Mrs. Ruth Korn, who has
been with the school for many
years.
