Israeli Stamps Kozminski-Lansky Vows Set for Autumn of holy City The theme of the new series of Festival stamps is "Jerusalem —The Old and New City." The set will be issued Aug. 21, and will consist of five stamps featuring stylized drawings of various sec- tions of the city. This new festival series is unique in the way it in- terprets Biblical quotations (on each tab) dealing with Jerusalem in terms of recent events. The stamps highlight the holy places of the Moslems, Christians and Jews in the Old City, the quest for peace in the quotation from Paslms, the Tower of David and the wall surrounding the Old City; Yemin Moshe (named after Moses Montefiore) and including its fa- mous windmill, the Israel. Muse- um and "The Shrine of the Book" which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. In addition to the festival series, a special stamp commemorating the 50th anniversary of Jewish Scouting in the Holy Land also will be released on Aug. 21.
