Zionist circles.
On March 26 he was given high
honors at a special function of

Mr. Bordelove, who was in his
early 70s, was a Detroit JWV

In his first year as commander
of Detroit Post 135, Mr. Borde-
love persuaded the national organi-
zation to hold its convention in
Detroit. He held several national
offices and was in the forefront of
campaigns against anti-Semitism
during the war years.
In addition, Mr. Bordelove was
active in the Hannah Schloss Old
Timers.

The Menora
The traditional menora has
seven stems. It illuminated the
tabernacle and temple and hangs
from synagogue ceilings as the
"eternal light." The eight-stemmed
monora is for Hanuka, commem-
orating the eight days of the Han-
uka miracle.
