MRS. MARTIN EDELMAN

Joan Elyse Palant and Martin
David Edelman were united in
marriage Saturday evening with
Rabbi M. Robert Syme and Cantor
Harold Orbach officiating.
The couple's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Melvin Palant of Stratford
Ct., Oak Park, and Mrs. Bertha
Edelman of Oak Park Blvd., Oak
Park, and the late Mr. Phillip
-Edelman.
The bride's gown and man-
tilla were designed of re-em-
broidered Alencon lace on Eng-
lish net. Her cathedral train of silk
illusion cascaded from a sleeveless
bolero jacket_ of matching lace.
She carried Stephanotis and Pha-
Inenopsis on her mother's Bible.
Ellen Susan Palant was maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Susan
Faudem, Lois Nelson, Lauren Pos-
ner, Dore Rubin and Mrs. Theo-
', dore A. Schneider. Shelley Beth
Wish was the flower girl.
'Joel Bruss served as best man.
Ushers were Leonard Fedon, Rob-
ert Golden, Theodore A. Schneider,
Martin Tuchman and Stuart Wish.

bride's sister, was matron of honor.
