George M. Zeltzer, Detroit busi-
nessman and immediate past presi-
dent of the United Hebrew Schools,
will speak at the annual- meeting
of the Junior Division, Jewish
Welfare Federation, 8 p.m. Wed-
nesday at Stouffers Restaurant,
Southfield. Michael J. Hermanoff,
president, announced the meeting.
Zelter is a member of the board
of directors of the Jewish WeLfare
Federation and vice president of
the Jewish Community Council.
He recently was invited to Israel
to attend an economic conference
on the future of that country.
Election of officers will take
place, with Allan Nachman nom-
inated as president; Lawrence
K. Snider, chairman of the ex-
ecutive committee; a n d Ira
Jaffe, Mrs. Robert Lavine and
Joel Safran, vice presidents.

Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Samuels,

their 50th anniversary with a re-
ception in their honor at the home
of their son and daughter-in-law,

MELVIN M. k RIEDMAN, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Max Friedman,
15230 Northgate, Oak Park, re-
ceived the degree of doctor of oste-
opathy at commencement exer-
cises of the College of Osteopathic
Medicine and Surgery in Des
Moines. Dr. Friedman attended
the University of Michigan and
received a BA degree in 1964. He
will serve a one-year internship
at Martin Place Hospital, Madi-
- soli Heights. -
