Dr. Norman Drachler, superin- tendent of Detroit Public Schools, told the 250 women attending that "everyone has a responsibility for our present social crisis." "There is a great urgency to our problems and the burden of responsibility rests not only with those who live in the city but also those who live in the suburbs. We are all part of the same pic- ture. No one segment of our community can solve our prob- lems. It will take everyone work- ing together to surmount our present crisis," Dr. Drachler said.
