BIG BREAK OF A show biz life-
time comes to fine songster-
guitarist Chico Holiday, who opens
July 3 at the Riviera Hotel in Las
Vegas . . . Chico also had audi-
tions at Caesar's Palace and The
Dunes, but canceled them when
he was hired on the spot for 12
weeks at the Riviera . . . He is
managed by wife Sally, who was on
the West Coast and after taking a
trip into Vegas, said this was for
Chico and set up the auditions .. .
He'll also tape a Steve Allen show
. . . -Chico is currently at the After-
glow Lounge on W. McNichols, just
west of Woodward, and it has been
predicted many times that he is
good enough for the big time . . .
If you haven't seen Chico yet, don't
miss him . . . He'll be at the After-
glow right up until his opening at
the Riviera.
