"Bye Bye' Makes Entry

"Bye Bye Braverman," an off-
beat comedy produced a n d
directed by Sidney Lumet for
Warner Bros.-Seven Arts, is now
showing exclusively at the North-
land Theatre.

If a man perceives that his
evil inclination is overpowering
him, let him enwrap himself en-
tirely in black and go to a place
where he is not known and indulge
in his desires, but let him not dese-
crate the name of Heaven openly
in the place where he is known.

Israeli Asks Court Order
to Fight Govt. Ban on Book

(Direct JTA Teletype Wire
to The Jewish News)

JERUSALEM—The man who was
instrumental in the capture of
Adolf Eichmann applied to the
supreme court here Tuesday for an
order calling on the government
to show cause why it should not
a rescind
its decision to prohibit the
U publication
of his book on Eich-
U m a nn 's capture.
Former Chief of Israeli Security
U
U Isser Harel, who resigned several
years ago after differences of
lig opinion with the government, said
in his petition that the book had
previously been approved by com-
petent security authorities. On the
strength of this approval, he had
contracted for the book with pub-
a lishers in Israel and aboard. Later,
the Israeli cabinet decided to ban
the publication.
