Religion Minister _Denies Plans for 'Third Temple' LONDON (ZINS)—"Is Israel go- ing to erect the Third Temple?" This inquiry was contained in a letter sent by the Christian the-' ologian, David Parker, of New Castle, England, to Rabbi Zorach Warhaftig, minister for religious affairs in Israel. The London newspapers, in pub- lishing the letter, said that Parker received a negative reply. It reported that a Christian min- ister stated he had information from "reliable sources" that thous- ands of granite-rocks in India are ready for shipment to Israel for the purpose of building "The Tem- ple." Parker further said he had learned that immediately after the Six-Day War, Israeli rabbis had begun to train `Cohanim' and 'Levi- yim' to conduct prayer services at "The Temple." He also "learned" that a spe- cial committee of Jewish million- aires was formed to raise a huge quantity of gold to finance the realization of the "Sacred Project" SAM EMMER MISS SUZANNE KAYE MUSIC BY Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kaye of Anna Ave., Southfield, announce the engagement of their daughter Suzanne Joy to Sheldon Jay Gold- stein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Goldstein of -Pennsylvania Ave., Southfield.
