Miss Carpman is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University. Dr. Herold, a graduate of Long Island University, attended the medical school of the University of Rothe and received his medical degree at Kansas City College of Osteop- athy. All-Detroit Tour of Israel With JNF Slated for August The first all-Detroit Jewish Na- tional Fund tour to Israel has been planned as a three-week adventure which will leave New York Aug. 12 and return Sept. 2. Percy Kaplan, executive director of the Jewish National Fund in Detroit, said the pilgrimage is geared to a c q u a i n t the JNF traveler with the details of how Jewish National Fund projects helped insure the survival of Israel and how the JNF can implement yet even more effective projects in the near future. Special events will be arranged in Jerusalem said Kaplan, but there will be opportunity for visits to shops, markets and bazaars, to kibutzim, and to the reunited Holy City and other holy places hitherto inacessible. Wherever visitors on the JNF tour go, continued Kaplan, they will be looked after every mile of the way with care and personal attention.
