Fried Chicken
Cut a fryer weighing from 2 to 3
lbs. into eighths. Rub to 1 tea-
spoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper into
chicken. Slice 1 onion and peel 1
clove garlic. Coat the chicken with
about cup flour. In a deep pan
put about 1/4 cup oil or chicken fat
and when hot add chicken, onion and
garlic. Brown on all sides. Remove
onion and garlic. Cover and fry over
low heat about 35 minutes or until
almost tender. Uncover to crisp and

Hope, will meet 7:30 p.m. Saturday
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Her-
man Raznick, 28526 Brooks Lane,
Southfield, where final plans will
be settled for a night' of games
to be given 8 p.m. Wednesday at
the Labor Zionist Institute. Pro-
ceeds from this affair go to the
City of Hone Hospital in Duarte,
Calif., a pilot research center for
catastrophic disease.
A social hour will follow.
