Doctor Again Treats
Survivor of Dachau
* AN FRANCISCO—In 1945, Dr.

Dam S. Bagnall was part of
medical team that treated some
the 32.000 survivors of the
German death camp at Dachau.
One of his patients was Paul Fox,
suffering from typhus.
Last week, Fox was dancing
with his wife in a country club
when he suffered a heart attack.
At the hospital, he was attended
by Dr. Bagnall.
After an hour, he reported to,
Mrs. Fox that the victim's condi-
tion was "touch and go." He sud-
denly noticed the tattoo marks on
Mrs. Fox's arm.
"Auschwitz," she explained.
"And your husband."
"Dachau."
"So was I." Dr. Bagnell said.
Dr. Bagnall had not seen his
death camp patient for 23 years.
