WSU Memorial to Ghetto Uprising Includes Program by Court Theater The 25th anniversary of the up- rising of the Warsaw Ghetto will be observed at Wayne State Uni- versity with two original presenta- tions by the Court Theater Players at 8:30 p.m. April 27 and 28 in the Community Arts Auditorium. Members of the Court Theater cast will offer a performance based on authentic documents of the Warsaw Ghetto, honoring the meaning of the Six Million lives destroyed in Europe. Songs of the resistance will be offered by the Jewish Folk Chorus. There is no charge for admission, and the public is invited. As part of the commemora- tion program, an exhibit on "The Warsaw Ghetto" is being displayed at the WSU Library showing the life, struggle, and death of the Jews in Warsaw. Sponsored by Shaarit Haplayta, a group of Detroit survivors of the European Holocaust, the ex- hibit was assembled from the archives in Poland, Yad Vashem in Israel. and the Jewish Histor- ical Society in New York. It was officially opened by Mayor Cava- nagh Monday and will continue the rest of the month. The commemoration events are being directed by Monteith college professor Otto Feinstein and stu- dents at the college. * * * Warsaw Ghetto Revolt to Be Commemorated by Workmen's Circle The 25th commemoration of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising will be observed by the Workmen's Circle, Michigan District, in a program. 3:45 p.m. Sunday at. the W.C. Center. This program will be presented in both English and Yiddish, and will immortalize the memory of the Six Million and pay homage to the great sacrifice and heroism of the Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto.
