Ohio Job Agencies Told to Avoid Discrimination COLUMBUS (JTA) — All pri- vate employment agencies in - Ohio have received a warning from the State Department of Commerece against discrimination in process- ing job applicants, it was disclosed Tuesday, following announcement of a survey by the Anti-Defama- tion League of Bnai Brith of agencies in the Youngstown-War- ren area showing such bias. The memorandum from Lloyd T. Lindsley, chief of the division of licensing of the state department, cited provisions of the state law and said that reports of such dis- crimination would be investigated "and appropriate action taken if it is found that the law is being violated."
