Channah Gruska Wed to Rabbi

Channah Gruskin, daughter of
Rabbi and Mrs. Solomon H. Grus-
kin of Kenosha Ave., Oak Park,
recently became the bride of
Rabbi Reuven Gedaliah Rubelow,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rube-
low of Brooklyn.
Some 1,000 persons attended the
traditionally Orthodox wedding,
held in the Detroit Light Guard
Armory.
The bride, who teaches elemen-
tary classes at Yeshivath Beth
Yehudah, was accompanied to the
outdoor canopy by her two sisters,
Mrs. Yehoshua Zuckerman of
Jerusalem and Raizelle, and by
her Yeshiva pupils, who, accord-
ing to Talmud, are to be con-
sidered as her own children.
The traditional seven blessings
read under the hupa, or canopy,
Were prondunced by seven prom-
inent Orthodox r a b b i s, among
them Rabbi Benyamin Paler, dean
of the Yeshiva M'kor Chaim of
New York, where Rabbi Rubelow
was ordained.
Others who -pronounced the
blessings - were Rabbi Joseph
Kahaneman, dean of the Pone-
vez ‘Ye,shiva of Jerusalem;
Rabbi -Chaim Scheinberg, dean
of the Yeshiva Tora Ore Semin
ary in Jerusalein; Rabbi Moshe
Margolin, the personal messen-
ger of Rabbi Y. E. Henkin of
New York, who heads the organ-
ization Ezras Tora; Rabbi Abra-
ham Kahaneman, son of the
Ponevez Y e s h i v a dean; the
bride's brother-in-law ; R a-b b i
Zuckerman; and the bride's
father.
Following the wedding meal,
others given the honor of pro-
nouncing the blessings included
Rabbi Shmuel Mendelowitz of
Mesifta Beth Shraga of Muncie,
N.Y.; Rabbi Harvey Waxman, Beth
Medrash Elyon of Muncie; and
Rabbi B. Heisler of Jerusalem, re-
presenting the philanthropy Tora
Schools for Israel.

Sharon L. Levison and Dr. Don-
ald M. Solomon were married re-
cently by Rabbi Morton Kanter
in a double-ring ceremony at the
Sheraton-Cadillac Hotel.
Miss Levison is the daughter of
Mr. Robert Levison of Nicolet P1.
The bridegroom is the son of Dr.
and Mrs. Seymour Solomon of
Westland Ave.. Southfield. -
Barbara Solomon, sister of the
bridegroom, served as maid of
honor.
Bruce Levison, brother of the
