Ribiat-Gruca Wedding
_Arranged for Dec. 15

Two school teachers were the
winners of the first National Chari-
ty Game held at METROPOLITAN
BRIDGE STUDIO OF OAK PARK.
Elaine Zeve and Keith Rossin led
the 72 pair entry by half a point.
In second place were Harold Wein-
stein and Dr. Max Parker, followed
by Beryl Bremen and Mrs. Lillian
Weeks. Oliver Barnes coupled with
Douglas Harrison finished fourth
by a narrow margin over Charlotte
Feldman and Aaron Katzman.

The Jewish style of cookery is
noted for its intriguing filled pan-
cakes. Knishes, blintzes and latkes
are almost a household word in
America, but less familiar are
hremslakh. These unusual meat
or fruit-filled treats come in a var-
iety of shapes and sizes—some re-
semble fritters, while others are
more like pane ackes—deep-fried
to a crispy golden goodness.
