Miss Judith Nosanchuk Medicare Enrollment
Engaged to Al Klein Deadline is April 1

In a statement to The Jewish
News made on Monday, Dr. Sam
.Hartstein, director of public rela-
tions of Yeshiva University, denied
the report in last week's issue
that the Vietnam situation caused
a change in the chaplaincy selec-
tions.
Dr. Hartstein said the story was
"inaccurate" and "unfair to our
students and chaplains." Submit-
ting that the report was "based
on errors" in the JTA account, he
called attention to a correction
which, he said, was used as an
addition to an earlier story and
which indicated that "voluntary
recruitment of military chaplains
at the Isaac Elchanan Theological
Seminary resulted in a 50 per cent
increase thus far" of rabbinical
students who enlisted for chap-
laincies.
According to Dr. Hartstein,
"Yeshiva University did not sus-
pend" participation in the chap-
laincy program.

Sam F. Test, Social Security dis-
trict manager in the Detroit-North-
west office, telling about the
meaning of the Social Security

the deadline is nearing for Medi-
care enrollment.
"Although most older people in
the Northwest area are now en-
rolled in the program that sup-
plements their basic hospital in-
surance under Medicare, some still
need to take action by April 1, in
order to get the protection," he
stated.
