Based on the book by Truman
Capote, written for the screen and
directed by Richard Brooks, "In
Cold Blood," a Columbia Pictures
release filmed in Panavision is ap-
pearing at the Studio New Center
Theater.
John Forsythe plays a detective
in the Kansas Bureau of Investiga-
tion who "breaks" a shocking mur-
der case. Robert Blake and Scott
Wilson play the killers.
The film version of "In Cold
Blood" is the story based on the
Clutter Family murders that took
place Nov. 15, 1959, in the rural
town of Holcomb, Kansas.
Brooks developed his screenplay
with utmost realism, so that "the
audience will feel that what they
are seeing on the screen is hap-
pening at the moment."
