ler Jr. of the United Church of
Christ was named Wednesday
deputy director of Project Equal-
ity, a nationwide, interreligious
effort to put the "purchasing
power of churches and synagogues
behind the drive for equal em-
ployment opportunities."
Project Equality operates in 12
states through 11 local offices
representing 115 participating re-
ligious bodies.
