Chrysler Corp. Is Cited for Brotherhood Efforts

The Detroit Round Table today is
honoring Chrysler Corp. as a na-
tional winner of the 1967 Brother-
hood Awards presented annually
by the National Conference of

The award is being presented to
Chrysler by Jackie Robinson, na-
tional Brotherhood Week chair-
man, at a special awards luncheon,
sponsored by the Round Table and
the Adcraft Club, at the Statler-
Hilton Hotel.
The awards luncheon will mark
the kick-off of National Brother-
hood Month in Michigan and the
start of ceremonies to commem-
orate the 40th anniversary of the
National Conference of Christians
and Jews.

ing, one of the country's outstand-
ing labor leaders and a noted mili-
tary hero, will be the guest of

Almogi, a member of Israel's
Knesset, was general secretary of
the Mapai Party for two years be-
fore he entered the cabinet in
1961. He served as secretary of
the Haifa Labor Council from 1945
through 1959 and was a member
of the executive of Histadrut.
Judith Beilin, consul of Israel
in New York, had to cancel her
appearance here.
A feature of the Pioneer Wom-
en's luncheon will be a prize of
an Israel Bond contributed by
Mrs. Morris L. Schaver, Israel
Bond women's division chairman.

Feb. 9 reception in honor of the
newly elected chairman of the
Democratic State Central Commit-
tee, State Senator Sander M.
