The sisters of Nu Chapter, Iota Alpha Pi Sorority at Wayne State
University, announce the new officers are Sandra Shapiro, chancellor;
Sue Cohen and Diane Holtz, vice chancellors; Judy Kaz an, bursar;
and Betty Rose Schneider and Rita Beck, scribes. Two members,
Sandra Shapiro and Donna Dytyniak, have received high honors at
Wayne State recently. Miss Shapiro has been elected to membership
in Mortar Board, national honor society for senior women; she is a
member of Pi Lambda Theta, professional and honors society for stu-
dents in education, and a delegate to the Student Centennial Confer-
ence on planning the experimental college for Wayne. Donna Dytyniak,
a December graduate, is vice-president of Mortar Board, secretary of
the Student Centennial Commission, president of the Student Educa-
tion Council and a recent nominee for citation "Who's Who in
American Colleges and Universities." Last month, Miss Dytyniak was
awarded the David D. Henry Award given at each commencement for
the outstanding female graduate.
The Bodzin Family Club will meet Saturday evening at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Bodzin, 23080 Parklawn, Oak Park.

Drive for Blood Bank
as Tribute to Father

Congressman Emanuel Celle r,

appointment of J. C. Sosnick, 2766
Woodstock, to mobilize the state of
Michigan behind a drive to build
a new central blood bank complex
in Haifa.
The building will include a cen-
tral blood bank for all of Israel
plus a first aid station and outpa-
tient cinic to serve the Haifa area.
Magen David Adorn, Israel's offi-
cial Red Cross and national blood
bank, will integrate the building
into its network of 64 first aid sta-
tions and its blood research pro-

gram.

A goal of S500,000 has been set
in the state of Michigan.
The appointment of Sosnick per-
petuates the memory of his late
father. Isidore Sosnick, originally
named to the role.
