TNT Women Set Donor Tea Jan. 23;
$50,000 Goal Is the Year's Objective

Guided by its division chairmen, the Women's Auxiliary of the
Jewish National Fund will culminate its 38th annual donor cam-
paign with a tea, Jan. 23, noon, at Temple Israel. The premiere
appearance of Ruth and Beno Sharon, singing stars of television,
radio, concert and opera stage from Israel, will be featured. Guest
speaker will be Philip Slomovitz, editor of The Detroit Jewish
News. The 1968 goal of the. JNF Women has been set at $50,000.

Pioneer Women Plan
'Histadrut Month '

Declaring the month of January
as "Histadrut Month," Pioneer
Women in Detroit has scheduled
an opening Histadrut Tea for 12:30
p.m. Thursday at the Labor Zionist
Institute.
The program will feature as
guest speaker Nahum Guttman,
public relations director of the
Histadrut Campaign and editor of
Histadrut's picture magazine. Foto-
News.
Musical entertainment will be
provided by Mrs. Sylvia Heideman.
with Mrs. Bella Goldberg at the
niano.
Mrs. David Sislin, chairman of
the Pioneer Women's division
of the Histadrut Campaign,
said that local chapters will
focus their attention on solicita-
tion of pledges for Histadrut
through the end of February.
Pioneer Women continues to
raise a significant portion of the
funds needed to support Histad-
rut's social and welfare program
in Israel.
