DIRECTIONS

Two Jewish residents of the Cambridge Nursing Home in Redford
show their obvious pleasure at a visit from members of Adas Shalom
Sisterhood, whose choir, under the leadership of Cantor Nicholas
Fenakel, (right) performs regularly at area nursing homes. With
the group are Adas Shalom President Rudolph Shulman (left) and
Mrs. Joseph Katchke, sisterhood president. As a public service,
Cantor Fenakel brings music—by both the Adas Shalom choir and
Golden Age Choir—to 23 nursing and convalescent homes in the area.

Open Fashion Show
for March of Dimes

The March of Dimes Fashion
Show, which annually makes a tour
of approximately 50 cities across
the country beginning in January,
will hold its premiere showing in
Detroit, 4 p.m., Jan. 7, at the Latin
Quarter, 3067 E. Grand Blvd.
The National Foundation —
March of Dimes marks two mile-
stones in 1968: the 30th anniver-
sary of its founding by Franklin D.
Roosevelt as a volunteer national
health organization; and the 10th
anniversary of its entry into the
field of birth defects.
"Two Worlds of Fashion —
Spring, 1968" it the title of the
1968 collection, which indicates
that top American designers have
looked to the romantic past as well
as the bold future in planning their
new line for spring.
