U.S. Children Airlift Toys to Israel Under NCJW NEW YORK (JTA)—Twenty-four school children from 11 American communities left Dec. 23 on a Hanuka airlift to Israel to dis- tribute toys to children there. The project, an annual one, is spon- sored by the National Council of Jewish Women as part of its ship- a-box program, which also oper- ates in France, India, Iran, Tunisia and Yugoslavia. Mrs. Melvin Stitch, chairman of the NCJW's national overseas com- mittee, said that the "child-to- child airlift" may increase the bonds between the children of Israel and America. The American youngsters personally delivered toys to two kindergartens in Is- rael, and turned over the rest to the ministry of education for dis- tribution. 93 Pct. of Yeshiva College Grads Continue Studies NEW YORK—Ninety-three per cent of the Yeshiva College class of 1967 are continuing their education in graduate schools, according to a report released by Prof. David Mirsky, dean of admissions.
