Nancy Eileen Steinberg, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald S. Stein-
berg of Shrewsbury Rd. and Rob-
ert Carl Gossman, son of Mrs. Jos-

man, were united in marriage re-
cently in Temple Emanu-El.

Following a Jamaica honeymoon,
the couple will live in East Lansing.
The bride wore an Empire gown
of peau de soie and Chantilly lace,
beaded with seed pearls and rhine-
stones. She wore a mantilla of
matching lace and French illusion
and carried roses and Stephanotis
with greens.
Maid of honor was Ellen Ruth
Scheuer. Bridesmaids were Jane
Carol Rosen, Carol Ann Grush-
kin, Sharon Thomas, Margie El-
len. Steinberg and Carol Sue
Wetsman.
Ronald Martin Barron served as

MISS JUDITH PUDER

The Jewish Center will hold its
second Audio-Visual Language
Teaching Workshop March 18-22 to
introduce teachers to the Saint
Cloud audio-visual method of teach-
ing foreign languages, and then to
give them initial training in the
"Habet Ushma" Audio-Visual He-
brew Course.
The workshop will be conducted
in cooperation with the Chilton
Center for Curriculum Develop-
ment, responsible for teacher train-
ing in the Saint Cloud Method in
the United States.
The objective of "Habet Ush-
ma" is to instruct students to
speak, write and read Hebrew
with native-like fluency.
Upon successful completion of
a written examination at the end
of the workshop, teachers will re-
ceive an attestation from the Cen-
ter for Curriculum Development.
Official applications for admis-
sion to the workshop should be
completed, signed and mailed to
Hebrew Department, Jewish Cen-
ter, 18100 Meyers, 48235, by Feb.
1, so that applicants may be noti-
fied of their acceptance well in ad-
vance of the program date.

Language Workshop
