and deputy foreign ministers of
the Soviet Union and seven other
Communist countries met behind
closed doors in Warsaw Tuesday
for talks on the Middle East crisis.
Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, Yugo-
slavia and East Germany are rep-
resented by their foreign ministers;
Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Ro-
mania by deputy foreign ministers.
Romania is the only Communist
bloc country that did not sever
diplomatic relations with Israel
after the June war.
