A devoted member of Mizrachi, he was on the national executive committee of the Mizrachi-Hapoel Hamizrachi Organization. Mr. Sos- nick was a Zionist as well, assist. ing in the Jew- ish National Fund drives and, at one time, the Palestine c o m - mittee of Young Israel. Born in Russia, he lived in the Detroit area 47 years. Abe Langwald, 42, Pharmacist Killed Abe Langwald, 42, who had operated Michigan Pharmacy at 8816 W. Vernor for the past year and a half, was shot to death in his Richard Aronsson, 20; Wayne State Student Albert Olshansky, 58; Richard David Aronsson, a Shot in Store Holdup Miami. Albert Olshansky, a grocer who kept a small store at 12002 N. Mar- tindale on the West Side, was shot and killed in a holdup last week- end. He was 58. Mr. Olshansky, 23420 Beverly, Oak Park, owned Albert's Market on Martindale for the past 10 years; earlier his store had been located on Dexter and Richton Ayes. Born in Russia, Mr. Olshan- sky had lived in the Detroit area for the past 45 years. Dr. William Klein, owner of the Villa-Zion Geriatric Clinic on Lin- wood near Oakman Blvd., died Dec. 9. He was 67. Dr. Klein, 17489 Westhampton, Southfield, was deeply interested in music. He was organizer and director of a group of musicians known as Chord of Judea, active DR. WILLIAM KLEIN 35 years ago, and he was a founder and president of the Ha- levy Singing Society. A devoted Zionist, even before coming to this country, he had planned to establish nursing homes in Israel, having made the goal of care for the aged one of his ma- jor aims in life. He was active in the Labor Zionist Organization Branch 7 and in Farband Branch 137. Born in Bessarabia, Dr. Klein lived in the Detroit area 48 years. He received his bachelor of science degree from Northwestern Univer- sity and his medical degree from the Detroit City College of Medi- cine (now Wayne State Univer- sity's medical school) in 1933. While at Northwestern, he taught Hebrew. A general practitioner until 1951, when he turned to the field of geri- atrics, Dr. Klein was somewhat of a pioneer in this area. He estab- lished the Villa-Zion clinic in 1951 and was a member and former board member of the National Geriatric Society. Dr. Klein also belonged to the Michigan, Wayne County and American medical associations and the American Academy of General Practitioners. With two married daughters then living in Israel, Dr. Klein or- ganized a group of Detroiters whose children were living in Israel. He also established a num- ber of literary groups. Survivors are his wife, Molly; a son, Harvey; six daughters, Mrs. Shimon (Elaine) Gewirtz of Brook- lyn, Mrs. Amnon (Naomi) Reiter, Arlene, Judy, Nancy and Alicia; and five grandchildren. here British Agudist Leader LONDON (JTA) — Simcha Ber- nard Unsdorfer, general secre- tary of the Agudas Israel organi- zation in Great Britain, who was a survivor of the Auschwitz death camp, died here at age 43. Mr. Unsdorfer was born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, and came to Eng- land shortly after World War II. He was the author of "The Yellow Star," and editor of "Hederekh."
