REHOVOT, Israel — Five young
Formosans, graduates of the Shung
Shen Institute of Science, are
among the 44 foreign students en-
rolled this year at the Feinberg
Graduate School of the - Weizmann
Institute of Science, it was an-
nounced by Prof. Michael Feldman,
dean of the graduate school, who
said that the institute was anxious
to increase the percentage of over-
seas sudents at the school.
In addition to the Formosans,
there are young men and women in
Rehovot from Argentina, Belgium,
Canada, Chile, England, France,
Greece, Holland, India, Italy, Jap-
an, South Africa, Sudan, Switzer-
land, the United States and Yugo-
slavia.
The overseas scholars, most of
whom are working for their doc-
torates, make up close to 20 per
cent of the student body.
